How do you deal with a bad hole or bad round?
I find it perfectly normal to have really bad rounds of golf or even holes and what I usually do to overcome these challenges is to take a deep breath, forgive myself, and move on. Don't be always stuck on that one bad shot or round as it will not help your mindset with the next few shorts or rounds.
What’s the best piece of advice a coach ever gave you?
The best piece of advice that I have been given is to stop worry about the things that haven't happened yet. For example, before a shot, never worry about whether or not it will go straight, left or right. The more you worry about things like this, the less attention you are paying towards your routine.
What’s your number one tip for young beginners?
Always practice at 100%. Whether it is on course practice, on the range, or on the putting green, always practice with a purpose and a goal in mind. It could be to fix a small blip in your swing, or it could be to improve your putting stroke, always aim to have something you want to achieve at the end of your practice session.
